The Opportunity

We’re searching for an experienced Control Centre Manager to lead day-of-operations performance across Auckland. Based at our Auckland Control Centre, you’ll take charge of a busy team ensuring smooth, safe and successful service delivery on the roads every day.

You’ll be responsible for leading a high-performing team of Operations Supervisors, optimising resourcing, improving performance, and supporting operational decision-making under pressure. This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Area Manager, with strong focus on team culture, safety, and efficiency.

About You

You’re an experienced operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and brings calm, confidence and clarity to your team, even when things get busy. You know how to lead with care and accountability, and you’re ready to bring your people and logistical leadership to a nationally significant role.

You’ll need to be a confident communicator, an exceptional organiser, and have the courage and capability to make smart decisions quickly. You will be passionate about safety, customer service and continuous improvement.

Your Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years in operational leadership roles, managing large teams

  • Strong commercial acumen, including managing budgets and P&L

  • Proven experience working under pressure and making real-time decisions

  • Excellent communication and people leadership skills

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to identify and act on trends

  • Experience working with or in unionised environments (desirable)

  • Experience in public transport or similar logistics/transport industries (desirable)
