We’re looking for an organised and detail-oriented part time Rooms Controller to join our Front Office team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing room allocations, coordinating closely with Housekeeping and Reservations, and preparing for group and airline arrivals ensuring seamless operations behind the scenes so our front-line team can deliver exceptional 5-star service to our guests.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily room allocations and inventory balancing
- Liaise with Housekeeping, Reservations, and Call Centre to ensure accurate room status
- Coordinate group and airline bookings, including key preparation and wake-up calls
- Monitor and follow up on VIP requests, guest preferences, and special arrangements
- Provide clear handovers and updates to management and Assistant Managers
- Support the Front Office team with operational tasks as required
Skills & Experience:
- Strong communication and coordination skills across departments
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
- Previous hotel front office or rooms division experience preferred
- Confident working with hotel systems and reporting tools
- Full flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster, including early and late shifts
