THE ROLE
Entelar Group is looking for an Audio Visual (AV) Technical Specialist to join a team of ICT Specialists providing professional AV solutions to our broad range of
A successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellence in the delivery of installation, implementation, fault diagnosis and resolution in complex corporate AV solutions.
As an Audio Visual Specialist you will be expected to pro-actively learn and develop your skills while being involved in knowledge transfer and supporting the wider team.
You will need to have a proven problem-solving ability, positive can do attitude, with attention to detail and a focus on solutions to get things done right the first time.
- Exceptional communication and comprehension skills combined with methodical fault-finding capabilities.
- Building internal and external relationships.
- Have the ability to work well under pressure and meet expected time frames.
- Support key customers in Government, Health and Business .
- Being an active and vibrant member of the team.
WHAT YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR
The delivery of installation, implementation, fault diagnosis and resolution in complex corporate AV meeting room solutions.
Safe work practices in line with the team’s Health and Safety systems.
WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
Knowledge of electrical, data and audio cabling, Pro AV standards and control systems eg DSP solutions, HDMI, Dante, Q-Sys
Knowledge of how AV integrates into IT networks.
Proven skills in prewire, fit-off, commissioning and programming AV and automation systems.
Crestron, Yealink and Poly experience and certifications.
Electrical, Site safe passport, working at heights and first aid qualifications of benefit but not essential as training will be provided for the right applicant.
- Minimum 3 years in a similar operational role.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a growth mindset.
- Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and ability to drive matters to a conclusion.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Full NZ Driver’s Licence.
