Duties may include the following:
- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant/bar operations
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Ensuring updated Menu in consultation with chefs
- Undertaking planning,review and improvement of Restaurant/bar menu items and prices regularly
- Taking bookings and making arrangements for organising large functions
- Undertaking customer feedback regarding food and services and making plans to improve the offerings
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels and best purchase prices for restaurant/bar operations
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Estimate future needs for Restaurent/Bar stock & goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
- Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
- Any other job duties as agreement between employer and employee for smooth operations of business.
An ideal candidate should have:
At least two year of hospitality experience or a relevant Diploma qualification.
Current General Manager Certificate
Free from drug and criminal history
Excellent communication and intra-personal skills
Provide at least two work related referees
30-40 hours a week.
