About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Acute Pain Service, you will play a key role in delivering expert pain management care, supporting patients through their recovery journey, and providing education and guidance to clinical teams. This role offers the chance to influence best practice and contribute to service development in a supportive and innovative environment.

Our Acute Pain Service is a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based pain management. We pride ourselves on collaboration, continuous learning, and delivering exceptional care.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current New Zealand Nursing Council registration
  • Postgraduate qualification (or working towards) in a relevant specialty
  • Proven clinical expertise in pain management or related area
  • Strong leadership and education skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
