Our home and community support, injury rehabilitation and sensitive claims services are centrally coordinated by a skilled team of Registered Health Professionals and Service Coordinators and then delivered by our partners with the experience and resources to meet individual client needs.
About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
This role exists to support providers working under the new ACC Sensitive Claims contract by helping them meet the contract's reporting and compliance requirements. You will play a key role in developing and delivering training and learning materials, as well as providing tailored, one-on-one support to clinicians. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring that reporting standards are met consistently and that we maintain a high level of quality and compliance in all submissions to ACC.
What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga
- Sound understanding of the ACC Sensitive Claims contract, including service codes, reporting pathways, and psychometric tools (e.g., IESR, HoNOSCA).
- Be an ACC approved Named Assessment Provider under the Sensitive Claims Service.
- Familiarity with clinical assessment and report types, including Early Supports Plans, Specialist Assessments, Wellbeing Plans, and Closure Reports.
- Understanding of trauma-informed and culturally safe practice, especially with Māori, tamariki, and diverse populations.
- Knowledge of SMART goal setting, risk assessment protocols, and evidence-based treatment planning.
- Understanding of confidentiality, consent, and safe contact principles (including for minors).
- Experience navigating client management systems - CMS specific to Sensitive Claims.
- Be able to provide the Services in accordance with the principles in the Sexual Abuse and Mental Injury Practice Guidelines for Aotearoa New Zealand, March 2008 ("the Massey Guidelines").
- Be able to work in compliance with the Code of ACC Claimants' Rights.
- A passion and expertise for working collaboratively and developing your skills and the skills in.
- Understanding of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and how these can be.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, and highly developed emotional.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable when required.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Sound judgement and a high level of integrity.
