We're seeking a passionate and dedicated cook to join our team.
Position and number of position: 2 Cooks
Location: Auckland
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to standard recipes
- Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation at all times
- Monitor and regulate cooking equipment such as ovens and grills
- Season and portion food accurately before serving
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
- Store food properly in temperature-controlled facilities
- Follow food safety regulations and workplace health standards
- Assist in planning menus and estimating food and ingredient requirements
- Prepare food to meet special dietary needs as required
- Support and guide junior kitchen staff when needed
Key Requirements:
- NZQF Level 2 qualification (or equivalent), or at least one year of relevant experience (either one is mandatory)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team spirit, with a positive attitude towards collaboration and feedback.
