Job Description
Each day is different in this role, with a wide range of people to meet, work with, and support. You will have the opportunity to build positive relationships with prospective students, their whānau, and stakeholders. You will be the first person our future students interact with, guiding them through the enrolment process and helping them take their first step towards a career in agriculture, horticulture, and trades. Through connecting with them and responding to their needs, you will have an opportunity to motivate them to ‘learn to move ahead’ and take a step towards achieving their goals in the primary industries sector.
You will also be an advocate for our brand and our programmes as you connect with organisations, schools, and people in the community to promote our brand and share the amazing opportunities Land Based Training has to offer those looking to engage in education.
This is a full-time permanent role, working across our LBT Palmerston North and LBT Whanganui locations. As such, we are open to seeing candidates based in both these regions.
Qualifications

- Communication skills: interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to generate or convert leads through Sales presentations; Ability to build rapport with people on all levels.
Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
