About the opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga
We’re excited to offer a newly created permanent opportunity for a Creative Brand and Marketing Designer to join our Brand & Marketing design team at Fonterra’s Head Office on Fanshawe Street, Auckland.
In this dynamic role, reporting to the Head of Brand & Design, you’ll collaborate closely with a talented design team and stakeholders across the business to bring our brand to life through exceptional, high-impact visual experiences. From major events and marketing campaigns to brand communications both internal and external facing, you’ll help craft design solutions that inspire, engage, and elevate our brand presence at every touchpoint.
You will actively promote the sharing of knowledge, insights, and best practices across all business functions, driving collaboration and innovation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan tasks to achieve timely and effective outcomes, ensuring visibility to key stakeholders. Contribute to and deliver brand and design plans.
- Maintain the integrity of the brand by understanding its essence and all associated visual elements and adhering to it.
- Identify and implement design improvement opportunities across all collateral in collaboration with the Head of Brand & Design.
- Stay informed about current brand direction as well as best practices and techniques in brand and marketing design, be confident in utilsing Ai design systems and tools.
- Confident in video editing, and shooting internal vlog content for our employee comms
- Lead assigned projects, working closely with in-house teams and market teams

You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure our creative vision is not only bold and innovative — but also strategically aligned with our business goals. With your exceptional communication skills and natural ability to build meaningful relationships, you’ll foster a vibrant, collaborative brand and marketing environment where ideas flow freely, and teams feel empowered and inspired.
Your ability to influence, adapt and tailor design solutions will be key to meeting the diverse needs of our stakeholders — ensuring every project delivers value, impact, and a strong sense of connection to our brand, weaving together our visual and narrative to delivery through compelling story telling.
Other key requirements include:
- Degree in Graphic Design, Design focused Degree
- Strong written skills, weaving creative with key messaging
- Experienced in understanding creative audience insights and evaluating creative optimisation opportunities
- Demonstrates visual design skills across various media types
- Experience in collaborating with external third parties and agencies
- Strong communication skills, collaboration, and stakeholder management expertise
