The Opportunity
We are seeking a fantastic Customer Communications and Engagement Administrator. This is an opportunity for a flexible and enthusiastic individual to support the Wellington Transport Alliance (WTA).

This role is responsible for responding to customer enquiries and complaints, identifying and reporting recurring themes to support service improvements, and performing a range of administrative duties.
Day to day activities will include:
- Manage customer queries and complaints, into and out of the WTA
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to gather content and input from subject matter experts.
- Report on common trends to support improvements in WTA and provide standard responses.
- Seek opportunities to collect responses to expected questions prior to impactful work to make responses quicker.
- Provide content to the social media team and WTA LinkedIn page.
- Produce the internal WTA newsletter and other internal content as required
- Support with the weekly electronic direct mail (eDM) and road work report for the public
- Support the development of collateral with internal partners needs.

You’ll bring a high level of initiative, adaptability, and a proactive approach to a broad range of administrative tasks that contribute to making the Alliance a great place to work. You’ll be able to perform well under pressure, effectively juggle multiple priorities, and build strong relationships across the organisation. In addition, you will have:
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external parties
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Attention to detail and flexibility
- A great storyteller
- Experience working with engineering consultants and contractors in a construction or maintenance environment (preferred)
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in communications, marketing or media or relevant field (preferred)
- Full current class 1 driver’s licence
