Customer Service Officer

The Opportunity:

The Ōtepoti Dunedin isite Visitor Centre is seeking enthusiastic Customer Service Officers to join our team. As the city's primary tourism information and booking centre, the Dunedin isite provides valuable advice and assistance to both visitors and residents.

This is a fixed-term (until 17 April 2026), part-time position with variable hours to support the busy high season. A minimum of 15 hours per fortnight is guaranteed.

This role offers variety and public interaction, with duties including:

• Booking tours, attractions, and accommodation locally and nationally
• Greeting and assisting cruise ship passengers at Port Otago and in the city
• Providing directions and recommendations for dining, shopping, and recreation in Dunedin

About You:

You'll be passionate about Dunedin and have experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Customer service
• Tourism
• Relevant tourism qualifications
• Retail
• Multilingual communication

As the isite operates seven days a week, flexibility to work weekends and public holidays is essential.

• A salary range of $52,887 - $55,987 (pro-rated for hours worked)
