Our Team - DevOps
As an intern in our DevOps team, you’ll grow your expertise as a Cloud or Site Reliability Engineer. Our cloud Engineers design and manage scalable infrastructure in the cloud, and Site Reliability Engineers focus on system reliability and performance. You’ll build resilient platforms, automate operations, and ensure seamless digital experiences - supporting our mission to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused travel every day.
A little more about you
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology.
- You are in your second to last (penultimate) year of study.
- You are available for full-time work from early November 2025 through the end of January 2026. (Please note: we typically observe a two-week shutdown over Christmas and New Year.)
- Experience or skills in CI/CD pipelines, automation, cloud engineering or site reliability engineering.
- Passion and curiosity that is being explored through project work outside of university. Are you currently creating a website, interacting on GitHub or Kaggle, and looking to solve big problems with data? We want to learn more about you!
- Thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment and enjoy working on ambiguous and fuzzy problems.

Please note: this role is based in Auckland. If you're located outside of Auckland, you'll need to travel for the Intern Assessment Centre in late September and be available to work in Auckland during the internship.
