The successful candidate will support the Senior Manager and wider team, undertaking a range of functions that support Line 2's priority risk areas.
The Enterprise Risk team is focused on delivering high quality risk insights and embedding bank wide risk frameworks, providing fantastic opportunities to work closely with stakeholders across the Bank and with the Risk Leadership team.
Mo te tūranga | About the Role:
As the Enterprise Risk Manager, you will:
- Deliver accurate and timely risk reporting to senior and executive management, Board, and regulators across a wide range of risk matters.
- Support the Senior Manager and Head of Enterprise Risk in providing a Line 2 view across core Enterprise level and Strategic risk matters.
- Support the Senior Manager and Head of Enterprise Risk in the embedment and tracking of progress of material risk initiatives.
- Planning and delivering Enterprise Risk-owned policies and policy lifecycle activities.
- Work in partnership with stakeholders across Line 2, including the Risk Leadership Team, to leverage information sharing and relationships.
- Manage other risk management processes and deliverables across both Enterprise Risk and Operational Risk teams such as management attestations, control testing and other reviews.

Your risk expertise and strong relationship-building experience will make you a trusted adviser to the business areas and stakeholders you support. You will have the confidence to independently challenge and constructively work together with business areas and the wider financial and non-financial risk teams, together building the strongest risk foundations.
Your proven ability in building effective relationships, influencing others and commitment to a high standard of integrity will be instrumental in your success in this role.
- Ability to critically review and challenge data and written information.
- Experienced in writing formal documents, e.g reporting papers and policy documents.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive change.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong conceptual and critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Project management disciplines, including ability to manage to deadlines.
- High degree of emotional intelligence.
