Job Description
Overseeing the following key responsibilities for Te Arikinui Pullman, Novotel and ibis Budget Auckland Airport:
Financial Leadership & Reporting – Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, end of month closure, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports, ensuring accuracy, detail, and timely submission to management, owners, and Accor.
Systems & Compliance – Develop, monitor, and streamline financial systems while ensuring strict adherence to Accor policies, internal controls, and all statutory, tax, and audit requirements.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management – Oversee cash flow, enforce cash handling procedures, and authorise payments in line with vendor and organisational requirements.
Accounts & Payroll Oversight – Manage accounts receivable and payable processes, credit approvals, debt recovery, and payroll compliance to maintain financial stability.
Stakeholder Engagement & Profitability – Partner with Department Managers to improve departmental profitability, attend leadership meetings, and ensure effective communication with owners, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- 5 Years relevant experience in accounting.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills and ability to work independently.
- In-depth understanding of hotel operations.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, develop and inspire teams.
- Demonstrated business acumen with ability to make sound decisions and understand commercial implications.
