We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Food Service Manager to manage the Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora Waitematā Food Services.
The focus of the role is to ensure the delivery of consistently high quality, safe and cost efficient services, whilst optimising financial returns for Waitematā Food services, along with ensuring optimum quality and choice for both staff and consumers.
Working collaboratively with your professional colleagues, and with the Districts contracted Food Service provider, you will be working toward the strategic position of the District for future service initiatives.
You will have access to a range of internal learning and development opportunities along with the ability to apply to the professional development fund for courses and conferences external to the district. You can also expect reimbursement of your registration fees, APC and professional membership fees.
About your experience:
- You will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a foods services management role
- In-depth knowledge of the Food Safety Act
- An advantage would be experience in a Clinical Diatetics role
- Strong Leadership and negotiation skills
About you:
- You are a New Zealand Registered Dietitian with a current practising certificate
- You know how to connect into and navigate a large organisation
- You can work with the detail, and also take a strategic view of the work
- You are highly creative and invested in great learning experiences
