Are you a visionary leader with a passion for customer engagement, strategic partnerships, and data-driven innovation? We are looking for a dynamic Head of Loyalty & Partnerships to shape the future of customer loyalty in one of New Zealand’s most iconic retail brands.
About the Role
As our Head of Loyalty & Partnerships, you’ll lead the charge in creating and executing high-impact customer engagement programs across both retail and trade channels. Your mission? To deepen customer relationships, drive retention, and unlock commercial growth through personalised, data-led experiences.
You’ll also be the architect of strategic partnerships, think Air New Zealand and key retail associations, that elevate our customer value proposition and expand our reach. This is a high-profile role that blends creativity, commercial acumen, and stakeholder influence.
What You’ll Be Driving
Retail Loyalty
- Lead and evolve the Mitre 10 Club and loyalty strategy
- Champion Club customer journey and in-store experience enhancements
- Oversee Club communications, promotions, and data integrity
- Deliver member growth and engagement targets
Trade Loyalty
- Optimise Trade eDMs and support direct-to-customer growth initiatives
- Leverage third-party loyalty offerings to boost brand preference
- Steward Trade customer data for targeted marketing
Personalisation
- Deliver personalised experiences via Dynamic Yield and martech integration
- Drive first-party data acquisition to enhance targeting and relevance
- Achieve direct sales targets through tailored messaging
Partnerships
- Lead strategic alliances (Farmlands, Ruralco, Airpoints) to expand reach
- Improve partner-related customer experiences and operational processes
- Activate marketing through partner channels and hit sales targets
What You’ll Bring
- At least 7 years’ experience in loyalty program leadership and partnership management
- Proven success in developing customer offers that build brand loyalty
- Strong experience with lifecycle marketing, data-driven campaigns, and direct marketing platforms
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results across paid and owned digital media channels
- Deep understanding of data privacy regulations and first-party data best practices
- Proficiency in CRM tools, data analytics platforms, email systems, and data management technologies
