Westpac NZ (WNZL) are seeking a Head of Risk and Compliance to join the Product, Sustainability and Marketing (PSM) business unit.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk leader with banking experience who brings a clear and strategic approach with highly developed relationship management skills and a growth mind-set. A future -focused and strong influencer is required to operate in this role directly reporting to the General Manager, Product Sustainability and Marketing sitting on the PSM Leadership Team. This will be a highly visible role, one which will support lifting the risk ‘brand’ ensuring the delivery of strategic objectives.
The responsibilities of this role are to lead and support PSM in all risk and compliance areas, ensuring the business unit meets all internal and external risk and compliance standards.
You will be a senior leader actively championing for risk and encourage a move towards a proactive risk culture. You will lead and influence a team to provide quality risk advice and tools to create, optimise and protect our important values.
