About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Health Care Assistant to join our Emergency Department. The Health Care Assistant is a vital, equal value member of our team, playing a pivotal role in the efficient and effective running of the department.
This role involves rostered and rotating shifts, including nights, and will see you working closely with nurses, doctors, and other health professionals to ensure patients feel supported and cared for during their journey with us.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Excellent organisational skills
A friendly, caring disposition with strong communication skills
Completion of Health Care Assistant or Health Support Assistant training, or a NZQA approved Level 3 qualification (e.g. National Certificate in Support of the Older Person, or National Certificate in Community Support Services)
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
A customer-focused approach
