Join us as a Hirepool, Bitumen Based Products and Yard Manager in Whangārei. You’ll be a versatile team member who will be directly responsible for the management of stock and sales orientated revenue streams based out of the Whangārei yard, including:
- Establishing and operating an internal hire and stores facility, providing effective small plant, equipment and sundry materials support to our internal operational divisions.
- Oversee the stocking and manufacture of bitumen-based products (i.e. emulsion and cold mixes) and lead the sale of these products both internally and across Northland.
- Manage on site yard operations and maintenance tasks including but not limited to, waste management, weighbridge, security and line management to on-site yard staff.

We’re looking for someone with:
- Full class 1 license with forklift endorsement, class 2, 4 and W, T, R
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong administration skills and capable in all Microsoft suite applications
- Previous experience in managing stock and sales preferred
- Self-motivated, has a can-do attitude and is a team player
- Physically fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks
- Good understanding of site safety and hazard management
- Flexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the team
