Eurofins Food and Water Testing New Zealand provides range of class leading food, water, plant, soil and fertilizer testing, as well as horticultural services, auditing and technical solutions, primarily to the New Zealand market. Job Description
We are currently seeking two Laboratory Technicians to join our Auckland Chemistry Department in a permanent full-time role, working Sunday to Thursday.
Key accountabilities include:-
- Perform sample preparation techniques such as aliquoting, spiking, and tracing samples
- Prepare reagents, concentrations, and other necessary solutions for laboratory analysis
- Operate and maintain various laboratory equipment and instruments
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
- Assist in inventory management and restocking of laboratory supplies
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to support ongoing projects and experiments
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
Qualifications
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience are preferred.
Experience:
- Experience in appropriate technical disciplines and quality management systems is preferred.
- Previous lab experience preferred.
