Job Description
To compliment our Livestock team, we are seeking a fast paced, detail-oriented person to undertake the role of Livestock Space Co-ordinator. The position is broad, and no two days will be the same! The key areas of responsibility are coordinating livestock to our processing plants. Some of your daily tasks will include:
- Reporting on all livestock movements
- Establish overall livestock coordination and allocation to all plants
- Pre-season planning
- Generate space allocations to buyers
- Collate and distribute a weekly processing plan
- Supporting the regional team with livestock targets
This position is based at our Head Office in Horotiu.
Qualifications
Some key qualities we are looking for are:
- Proficiency in Microsoft, particularly excel
- Good communication skills
- Advantage if worked in logistics, but not essential
You’ll enjoy working with numbers and people, and the challenge of problem solving will excite you! Previous exposure to the rural or primary sector may be an advantage but is not essential.
