About the Role
As a Relief Support Co-Ordinator, you will provide professional, efficient and timely secretarial and administrative support across our health services. This varied and rewarding role includes managing documentation, co-ordinating referrals, assisting with records management and supporting both patients and staff in a dynamic hospital environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced role and is motivated to support clinical teams in delivering excellent care.
You will work closely with the Secretarial Services Manager and General Managers across departments, playing a key role in supporting service delivery and continuity. This is a fixed-term full-time role, ideal for someone who thrives on variety, has great interpersonal skills and is passionate about making a positive contribution to the health sector.
You must be able to deal sensitively and confidentially with all information and have a strong attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Office is a must.

About you
As a Relief Support Co-Ordinator, you will bring:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar administration or secretarial role
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- A high level of organisation, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people
- A commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equitable health outcomes
- Experience working in the health sector and knowledge of ECA or Winscribe would be advantageous.
- Experience in scheduling and arranging meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items
