Te Tūranga | The role:

  • Primarily, this role is accountable for the accurate reporting of RBNZ capital adequacy and internal capital performance metrics in accordance with relevant regulatory frameworks and policies.
  • This role is also responsible for the delivery of capital analytics and risk-adjusted performance reporting for revenue generating business units.
  • It will also have a continued focus on delivering enhancements to existing reporting and building up a robust analytical capability to ensure reliability and accuracy of data.
  • This leadership role will provide guidance and develop talent within an immediate and wider team.
  • Success in this role is to be seen by business partners as a trusted advisor providing proactive insights that support decision making.

Ngā mea kia whai angitū ahau? | What do I need to be successful?

  • We will be impressed by your expert understanding of RBNZ's credit, market and operational risk capital adequacy requirements and an in depth understanding of banking products.
  • Attention to detail, ability to interpret and model regulatory requirements, data mining (SQL) experience and expertise as well as your visualisation skills and insights presented within periodic reporting.
  • A background in Financial Services or large complex organisation will set you up for success and familiarity with financial products and credit/market risk is a real advantage here.
  • If you are confident communicating and collaborating with others including senior managers and execs, and enjoy a fun, fast-paced work setting you will fit in well with our team.
