Mō te tūnga | About the role
The Manager HR Advisory and Delivery is a senior leadership position within the People Operations Leadership Team . This person will have responsibility for leading HR Advisory and HR Service Centre Delivery across this large organisation and supporting leaders to deliver an exceptional employee experience.
As Manager HR Advisory and Delivery, you will lead a team of HR specialists and partners with business leaders and employees to continuously improve service delivery and embed HR initiatives into operational practice, you will be responsible for strategic leadership and direction across HR Advisory and HR Service Centre Delivery. We are looking for someone who can provide strong and inspiring leadership to the team.
Reporting to the Director People Operations, you’ll be a key member of the People Operations Leadership Team, the role works collaboratively across the People Operations and People Strategy teams to ensure a joined up, planned approach to deliver on the People Group’s strategic objectives and priorities.

To be considered for this position, your knowledge and experience will include:
Significant HR leadership experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior HR leadership position, with strong ER to help lift capability across the team.
A depth of expertise in all the advisory aspects of HR and the applicable legislation.
Have experience working within large complex organisations or similar role within the public sector.
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and credibility at a senior level.
Experience working in a unionised environment.
An empowering and inclusive leadership approach with the ability to mentor and enhance the overall capability in people.
Be able to lead and work in a highly collaborative way with a facilitative working style, influencing skills and application of a high level of EQ.
Highly demonstrated skills and experience to execute people-related initiatives (policy, process, systems, and HR practices) into service delivery environments across multiple channels.
Experience in dealing with ambiguity, demonstrating sound judgement and composure.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
The salary will commence between $187,031 and $207,812 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
