About you:
You'll be responsible for assembly, repair and refurbishment of new and used tractors, agricultural machinery and construction equipment. You will need:
- An automotive heavy engineering or diesel mechanic qualification
- Excellence in diagnostics and have a sound understanding of electronics and hydraulics to dismantle and rebuild machine components.
- A proven background in agricultural machinery or construction machinery
- Good communication skills to liaise with people at all levels.
- To understand and manage customer expectations.
- A good level of physical fitness
About the role:
This is a permanent full-time role based at our Power Farming Canterbury branch which is located in Rolleston. You will report to the Service Manager and:
- Renovate, refurbish and maintain all machinery and equipment products that are accepted for service
- Provide support to the service department as required within their regular responsibilities.
- Use computers to seek service and parts information and download information from on-board computers in heavy machinery
- Dismantle and rebuild machine components to manufactures specifications
- Ensure that all administration functions are completed on time and are correct
- Co-operate with all other departments to meet production and workflow deadlines
