Job Description
Ballantynes are seeking a Menswear Supervisor to work closely with our Menswear Manager to support the leadership of the Menswear team.
Everything to suit the fashion-conscious can be found in our Menswear area. We stock brands that are exclusive to us which means we have an exciting array of products to work with. Some of the brands that you will be working with are Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren, R.M Williams, G-Star, Superdry and Rembrandt.
Ballantynes are looking for an individual who has previous leadership experience managing and coaching a team in a retail environment, with proven experience in driving sales.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, strong time management skills, with the ability to coach and train to help deliver our exceptional Ballantynes service experience and achieve sales targets.
As well as being a retail superstar, you will be expected to lead the team two days a week when the Menswear Manager is on RDO’s or leave and support the team on all other days.
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm under pressure and always presenting a professional front.
The successful candidate will have the following experience skills and attributes:
- A track record of successful KPI’s results
- Proven leadership and management experience – Menswear / Fashion industry is advantageous
- Directive selling techniques that have helped to set and achieve sales goals
- Solution focused with proven problem solving
- Able to provide assessment and effective performance feedback to staff
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong time management skills
Additional Information
This is a permanent, part time role working Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
To be the successful applicant for this position, you will have previous leadership experience, managing and coaching a team in a retail environment, with proven experience in driving sales, preferably in Menswear/ Fashion environments.
