We are looking for a dynamic and skilled clinician to join our Mental Health & Addictions NASC (Needs Assessment and Service Coordination) team.

As a NASC Clinician, you will play a pivotal role in assessing support needs, coordinating recovery-focused services, and ensuring that adults accessing mental health and addiction services receive timely and tailored support to maximise their independence and quality of life. You will be part of a small, dedicated team that works across community and inpatient settings, in partnership with service users, whaanau, clinicians, non-government organisations, and government agencies.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive, person-centred support needs assessments
  • Develop and coordinate individualised support plans aligned with recovery goals
  • Facilitate access to appropriate services across mental health, social, housing, and disability sectors
  • Liaise with clinical teams, providers, and whaanau to a ensure coordinated, responsive care.
  • Apply cultural competence and uphold the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in all aspects of your work

To be successful, you will have:

  • Hold registration with an Allied Health professional body, along with an APC
  • Experience in mental health and/or addictions in an interdisciplinary setting
  • Strong assessment, planning, and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • A genuine commitment to equity, partnership, and consumer-led care
  • A full drivers licence
