We do this by designing, building and managing mobile sites across the country for telecommunications providers (like Spark and 2degrees) to expand their coverage efficiently and sustainably. Our tower portfolio of 2,500 covers Cape Reinga to Bluff and is the largest in New Zealand.

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying and securing land for new mobile tower sites, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to facilitate the property acquisition process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project based activities across Property Acquisition team
  • Specific activities include but are not limited to Identifying candidates, contacting landowners and tenure negotiations for new site acquisition
  • Supporting Property Acquisition Managers with stakeholder management and engagement through the end-to-end property acquisition process.
  • Supporting Portfolio Managers with project activity and portfolio optimisation on existing sites, including managing landowner relationships, lease renegotiations and site purchases
  • Managing modification projects across existing sites including landowner and specialist engagement/negotiations as required
  • Assisting with data entry and reporting across our Tower Management Platform and Lease Management system
  • Miscellaneous administration tasks as required across the property team to support delivery of the property function

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Property or Planning Degree or related experience
  • Flexibility to assist the property team across varying projects
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to effectively use data and metrics to drive informed decision-making.
