PRS Six Limited is looking for a Retail Assistant, who enjoys working with the customers and has a friendly, outgoing personality. As a team-oriented company, we seek individuals who can be flexible with work hours.

Pay: 23.50 an hour
No of working hours: 30 hours a week.
The ideal candidates provide exceptional customer service and display a positive attitude when interacting with customers and other employees.
Detailed Job Duties include:-
- Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
- Legally eligible to work in New Zealand
- Meet store targets set by Circle K New Zealand management
- Ensure daily compliance to the Circle K Retail Excellence program
- Complies with Health, safety, security and environment and food safety standards
- Routinely lift and/or carry cases from ground to overhead
- Efficiently perform multi-function operations of all store equipment.
- Ability to work independently once trained
- Work with minimum direction and follow instructions given by supervisor(s)
- Attend and serve customers on checkout when required to by manager.
- Carry out stocktakes and order new stock
- Fill and replenish stock levels when required, following FIFO (First in First out)
- Help prepare and assemble food items for customers
- Regular cleaning of equipment and surfaces of the store.
- Regular cleaning of kitchen, bathroom, floors
- Remove rubbish
- Perform other work-related tasks designated from time to time by management
· Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
· Help to maximize sales through effective and proper procedures for stocking, rotating, and merchandising product, both on the sales floor and in the back rooms and coolers/freezer
· Perform basic maths functions to collect payments and make change
· Scanning goods and ensuring pricing is accurate
· Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
· Memorize product locations throughout the store and be able to direct customers or make suggestions
. Reporting customer complaints to the owner
· Maintain accurate cash drawer
· Recommend products to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need
· Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly price changes by updating shelf tags and signs
Qualification & Skills
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Must be able to work in all weather conditions
· Qualification is desirable not mandatory
· Relevant experience is preferred but not mandatory. On the job training can be provided to the candidates with the right attitude to work.
· Must be able to work rotating shifts and rosters. This includes AM / PM shifts (overnight). Weekends included.
