ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Senior Administrator to the VP of Neutron, you will be instrumental in driving the success of Rocket Lab's most ambitious program. Acting as the operational backbone for the VP, you will ensure seamless coordination across internal teams, external partners, and global stakeholders. This role requires precision, discretion, and proactive problem-solving. You will manage complex scheduling, drive administrative execution, and help maintain momentum across high-stakes projects. Success in this role means the VP can consistently focus on strategic priorities, supported by flawless logistics and empowered by clear communication and efficient operations.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:
- Executive Support & Coordination: Manage the VP's calendar, travel, and meeting logistics across time zones. Prepare agendas, briefings, and follow-ups for internal and external engagements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with senior leaders, program teams, and external partners to ensure timely communication and alignment. Represent the VP professionally and reliably.
- Project & Operations Support: Assist in tracking key deliverables, coordinating cross-functional inputs, and ensuring deadlines are met. Support documentation, reporting, and internal communications.
- Information Management: Filter and prioritise incoming requests, emails, and meeting invites. Maintain confidentiality and ensure the VP's time is protected and well-utilised.
- Administrative Excellence: Own administrative processes such as expense reporting, travel bookings, document management, and team coordination. Identify opportunities to streamline and improve.
YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong proficiency in calendar management, travel coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong, demonstrated computer experience working with MS Office (including Excel), and the ability to quickly learn new applications.
- Experience supporting senior leaders with complex schedules and global operations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work at a fast pace when required.
- 3-5 years' experience in a Senior Administrative or Executive Support role.
- Familiarity with project tracking tools, document management systems, and internal workflows
- Remains calm under pressure.
WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in launch operations, engineering program support, or technical environments.
