Te Turanga | The Role
The Senior Developer plays a key role in building, enhancing and supporting the FMA's core digital platforms. As a full-stack developer, the role contributes to both the backend and frontend development of systems such as Dynamics 365 (CRM), HRIS and the FMA website.
Working in a cross-functional team, the Senior Developer brings strong engineering practices, problem-solving capabilities and a collaborative mindset to deliver secure, scalable and user-friendly solutions. The role is hands-on in delivering small to medium enhancements, resolving system issues, supporting integration and improving platform performance.
Operating within the Platform Engineering and Operations team, this role works closely with product leads, platform analysts, architects and vendors to ensure that systems are technically robust and aligned to the FMA's digital standards. It also plays a key role in applying automation, continuous improvement and modern development practices to reduce manual effort and accelerate delivery.

You'll bring:
- Experience at senior level in development of complex CRM (D365 CE) solutions.
- Sound experience (5 years+) working in Dynamics CRM, C#, JavaScript & .NET.
- Proven track record in delivering complex system integrations (e.g. CRM, HRIS) with a focus on seamless data flow and compliance.
- Proficiency with integration platforms and technologies like APIs and message queuing systems.
- Experience in optimising platform performance for scalability and reliability.
- Strong collaboration skills to ensure platform solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Azure DevOps, Azure Integration with D365 and Azure Services.
- Solid experience in database management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and managing deliverables.
- Strong expertise in security practices, including encryption, access controls and designing solutions that follow security best practices.
