Help shape how Kiwis connect, send, and receive - across New Zealand and the world.
Due to an internal promotion we are now looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to support the Consumer Marketing Manager in driving results across both International and Domestic sending audiences.
This is a broad and rewarding role for someone who thrives on variety, can manage complexity, and brings a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
You'll play a key part in delivering smart, insight-led marketing that drives commercial results and enhances the customer experience. You'll lead campaigns, guide go-to-market activity, and support communications to our retail network and agency partners - ensuring clarity, alignment, and impact across all touchpoints.
You'll do this by:
- Supporting and executing marketing strategies that speak directly to the needs of our consumer sending audience, contributing to the wider NZ Post strategy
- Owning key initiatives, leading campaigns and projects from planning to execution, and managing go-to-market processes with stakeholders across the business
- Driving effective communication to the retail network and agency partners, you'll take full ownership of the end-to-end delivery of a fortnightly newsletter to over 800 stores, alongside other key channels like in-store collateral and internal updates-ensuring all content is clear, consistent, and on-brand.
- Collaborating with external agencies, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring alignment, smooth delivery, and strong working relationships
- Using customer insights to continuously improve marketing impact and contribute to new propositions
- Helping to deliver on key projects within the wider Consumer Value Management team; bringing initiative, coordination and a team-first attitude
Mou - About you
You're a confident, proactive marketer who understands the B2C world, and balances creative thinking with strong execution. You're organised, solutions-focused, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a complex environment.
You'll combine that with:
- Proven experience marketing in a consumer-focused, complex retail or service-based environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong copywriting and presentation skills
- High attention to detail, strong time management and the ability to pivot quickly when things change
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and manage stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive mindset, not only in when it comes to solving problems, but also in seeking better ways of working,
It goes without saying, but you'll say it anyway, you'll also be comfortable with MS Office, and marketing platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
