An exciting opportunity has come up for an Administrator to join Waipā District Council's busy Service Delivery group!
About the Role
Due to an internal promotion, we have a vacancy for a Service Delivery Administrator. This role is responsible for providing administrative support within our infrastructure group, primarily supporting our Project Delivery team, which is responsible for delivering large capital works projects. This role works as part of a team of three Administrators each dedicated to various aspects of Service Delivery, and providing back up for one another when required. Meeting support - scheduling, taking and circulating minutes, and post-meeting following up - is a key component of this varied position, as is providing support with procurement and related tasks, so the successful candidate will have plenty of opportunities to learn and further grow their skillset.
About You
We are looking for a professional and reliable individual who demonstrates initiative and can keep a cool head in a busy environment; someone who can work with our technical staff to keeping things running smoothly. Strong time management and prioritisation skills are a must, as is the ability to communicate effectively and build a rapport with others.
Ideally you will bring the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role (with advanced meeting support experience a plus!)
- A strong working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Demonstrated accuracy and strong attention to detail
- The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships; and
- Above all, a fantastic attitude and the desire to learn, grow, and provide quality support to the teams you work with
