We're looking for a proactive and people-focused Service Desk Team Leader to join our ICT team in Auckland.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
In this leadership role, you'll manage a team of Service Desk Analysts, ensuring the delivery of exceptional first- and second-line support across SkyCity. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example, provide technical guidance, and ensure smooth operations across all IT service desk functions.
- Managing team performance, recruitment, induction, and development.
- Leading escalations and ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Overseeing rostering and coverage to maintain consistent support.
- Liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Supporting infrastructure and software installations, account administration, and equipment logistics.

You're a skilled IT professional with a strong customer service ethos and proven leadership experience. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy mentoring others, and are passionate about delivering high-quality support.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft OS systems.
- People management or supervisory experience.
- Strong communication and technical skills.
- Excellent customer service focus.
- Experience using ServiceNow
- Preferred: Knowledge of Agile and experience managing remote teams
