Storeroom Assistant

Storeroom Assistant Wanted – Full-Time Position

We’re looking for an experienced Storeroom Assistant to join our busy supermarket team. This hands-on role is based in the storeroom and involves the accurate receipting, checking, storage, and distribution of all inwards goods.

We need someone reliable, detail-oriented, and physically fit, who can work well under pressure and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and checking inwards goods
• Organising and maintaining storeroom areas
• Ensuring accurate stock handling and record keeping
• Supporting the team with general storeroom duties

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a busy storeroom environment (supermarket experience a plus)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Physically fit — some heavy lifting involved
• Computer literacy and admin skills
• A current forklift licence is an advantage
• Familiarity with SAP systems is a bonus

Role Details:

• Full-time position including at least one weekend day
• Hours and pay to be discussed at interview
