Te Tūranga - The Role:
Our Compliance and Science team is working on water compliance and groundwater science… and we need your help!
We need someone to help us with:
- Collecting data related to drinking water sources and revalidating databases.
- Assisting with the water meter verification program.
- Mapping water use areas in our GIS database.
- Reviewing wastewater compliance data and assisting with trend analysis.
- Supporting the science team to ground truth groundwater bores within Freshwater Management Units.
You’ll be joining the Compliance team that specialises in water compliance and the Science team responsible for monitoring and reporting on our groundwater resources.
Ngā Pūkenga, ngā wheako - Your Skills & Experience:
We're looking for a self-motivated professional with a keen eye for detail and experience in water compliance / management.
You should be studying, or plan to commence studying, towards an environmental science, geography or geology related qualification.
You will also need to hold a current driver's licence.
This position will be located in Tauranga.
