We are looking for a Supplier Capability Analyst to join our Properties and Procurement business unit. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in this area to develop their skills and grow a career within Westpac. If you are eager to learn, have top notch administration skills gained from working within a large and complex organisation, this may be a great role for you!
You will be responsible for leading a variety of supplier assessments, including the completion of onboarding checks, administration, and facilitation of related processes. Your strong relationship skills with internal and external stakeholders will ensure onboarding activities are completed accurately and on time, helping us deliver on our commitments to customers.
In addition to onboarding, you will also support key activities during supplier offboarding, assisting with documentation, coordination, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures to maintain operational integrity.
You will ensure all regulatory policies and procedures are followed, proactively complete relevant risk training, and contribute to strengthening team processes. This includes escalating any issues or concerns in line with established escalation protocols.

  • Demonstrable experience in process management to achieve excellent results, ideally within the financial services industry or another regulated environment
  • The ability to develop new ways of working to enhance business decision making
  • Excellent written and verbal commination skills with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience in creating reporting
  • A tertiary qualification in a business/commercial field would be preferable
