About the Roles
These are two mid-senior LMS technology roles, with related but different focus. The primary purpose is to:
- Work as part of the national Learning Management System team to support the programme of work to stabilise, centralise and migrate HNZ's complex learning management environment towards a single and integrated platform.
- Contribute technical expertise and skills required to implement and operationalise the programme of work.
- Analyse, design and develop LMS system, process and capability solutions.
- Contribute to the investigation and resolution of complex and high-volume issues, including collaboration and capability building needed to maintain our platforms and the broad range of content, users and integrations.
About you
You have over five years' experience as either a
- learning management specialist implementing, integrating, configuring, and administering Totara Learn platforms in complex environments,
or
- business/data analyst specialising in HR and learning systems, confident in co-designing and implementing reporting and data visualisation solutions that are practical and accessible.
You have a successful track record of delivering complex projects, being PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certified, or equivalently qualified or experienced in project management.
You are recognised for your ability to contribute effectively within cross-functional teams, collaborating with Learning Designers and LMS experts to deliver high-quality outcomes. With strong stakeholder management skills, intellectual agility, and a focus on delivery, you build trusted relationships and develop solutions that address immediate needs while aligning to broader strategic goals. Even in changing or ambiguous contexts, you maintain a clear focus on quality and results.
