About us:

We are part of Foodstuffs South Island, our 100% kiwi-owned and operated cooperative that supports the brands that we all know and love - PAK’nSAVE, New World, Four Square, and On the Spot - as well as our Trents customers.
About the role:
- Delivery to Foodstuffs and Trents customers scheduled orders on specific days and times.
- Keep vehicle clean and tidy
- Load and unload vehicles safely
- Ensure RUC and COF and licenses, and maintenance of vehicle is up to date and any defects reported to your manager
- Accuracy with picking orders
- Inwards goods checking of orders
- Ensure consignments are checked and signed for
- Keeping warehouse environment tidy
- Other duties as requested by the Branch Manager or Supervisor – When not driving it is expected that this role will assist with general warehouse duties.
Full - Time (40 hours per week) and Part - Time hours avaliable with exact hours and days of work to be discussed at the interview stage of the recruitment process.
About you:
You will have excellent Customer Service skills along with a proven attention to detail and, once you know the role, the initiative to see what needs doing and act on that. Good communication skills and a willingness to pitch in to get the work done are key to success in this role. You need to have a good level of physical fitness as regular lifting of up to 25 kg is required. Ideally you may also have the following:
- Full, current, clean New Zealand drivers’ licence
- Forklift Licence
- Customer service experience and the ability to think on your feet to offer solutions l
- Attention to detail
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills
