We’re looking for an organised, hands-on, details-oriented person to coordinate and drive our warehouse, dispatch and fulfilment, stock management, processing production, and procurement operations.
As one of the most critical links in the business, you’ll be responsible for keeping track of our overall inventory across multiple product streams, and ensuring all customer orders are packed and dispatched appropriately, and efficiently.
You’ll be able to work independently, and take initiative as part of a small team. Working with the leadership team, you’ll be in a position of trust, and will train and look after production teams in processing and packaging according to our established procedures. You’ll also bring your own experience to help the business continuously improve and create a positive environment for staff.
As a certified organic food business, we are looking for a person who cares deeply about quality.
This is a full-time, permanent, Monday-to-Friday position (30-45 hours per week). However, flexible arrangements are negotiable for the right person.
Day-to-Day
Your day will have some consistent elements, and some variable depending on the business needs. Like many family businesses, we often share tasks and pitch in where help is needed. This is a diverse role which touches all parts of the business. The role has five main aspects, which help inform strategic business operations.
1. Warehouse and inventory coordination – what stock/resources do we have?
2. Quartermaster – what stock/resources do we need?
3. Production and processing coordination – make more stock
4. Procurement – buy more resources
5. Fulfilment and dispatch coordination – send out stock
Any typical day might include the following:

· Cultivating excellent relationships with external logistics and distribution/transport/courier staff, and with customers and internal teams.
· Assisting with truck scheduling and loading, temperature checks, and record-keeping.
· Timely production, packing, and packaging of goods, coordinating with suppliers and production staff.
· Manage your own time, and coordinate the warehouse space to maintain a tidy, safe, and efficient work environment.

· Entering data accurately into spreadsheet records and other systems, requiring some desk time.
We expect that you will:
· Be proactive, take initiative, and have a positive attitude.
· Take your own safety, and that of others (including colleagues and visitors) very seriously.

· Act in alignment with our values of chemical-free, organic and healthy production.
· Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Contribute to a whole-of-business mindset by effectively managing resources and reducing waste.
· Be self-sufficient and able to work efficiently alone and keep motivated
· Be generally physically fit and able. You will need to be able to lift and carry moderately-heavy goods as a normal part of the job.
Overall, you’ll be responsible for:
· Leading and motivating production teams to meet targets when necessary.
· Learning how to safely and efficiently use a range of resources and equipment to achieve a high standard of product quality and presentation.
· Ensuring no part of the business runs out of supplies, and resources are strategically managed, prioritised, and available for operations, as part of general quartermaster duties.
· Ensure compliance and assurance with safety, quality control, transport, production regulations, and cool chain management.
You’ll be an ideal match if you can demonstrate:
· A passion for organic, biodynamic, and/or regenerative horticulture or business!
· A kind, friendly, can-do attitude.
· Experience in dispatch, logistics, stock control, or production management. Ideally you will have some coordination experience as well as delivering as part of a team.
