About the Role
Are you a motivated and compassionate nurse who wants to make a real difference for patients navigating treatment injuries? We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join Finance team at Health NZ Hawkes Bay, with a focus on the identification and support of patients who may have experienced a treatment injury.
This is a unique opportunity to work autonomously in a role that blends clinical expertise, patient advocacy, education, and service improvement.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Youll be based at Hastings Hospital, working within the Finance team in close collaboration with clinical and operational services. Our team values collaboration and continuous improvement, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients and whānau.

About you
You are an experienced and confident nursing professional who can navigate complex clinical and compliance requirements with ease.
What were looking for:
- Registered Nurse with a current New Zealand practising certificate.
- Broad clinical knowledge and confidence working across different specialties.
- At least three years senior clinical experience, with background in patient advocacy, case coordination, or clinical quality and safety desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, especially when reviewing clinical notes.
- Compassion, empathy, and excellent communication with patients and whānau.
- A proactive, autonomous approach balanced with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
