Divisional Services and Administration is a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for delivering outstanding student and staff experiences through high-quality, confidential secretarial and administrative support services. We are a strong, supportive whakawhanaukataka, (community), proud of the work we do as the largest workforce in the university, spanning every corner of the motu.
The role/Te mahi
- Working closely with the Senior Administrator and Operations Lead on a variety of tasks and projects.
- Providing essential cover during staff shortages to keep services running smoothly.
- Managing and providing general divisional support, such as reception services, arranging meetings, and taking minutes.
- Coordinating travel and supporting events.
- Processing transactional finance activities, including purchase card reconciliation, reimbursements, purchasing, and invoicing.
- Stepping in wherever needed to support the efficient operation of the office.

- Strong written and verbal communication, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and confidence in learning new systems.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), fixed-term position until 5 December 2025, based in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.
The appointment range for this role is $63,508 to $68,185 per annum, top of range is $73,640.

The salary range for Kaiwhakahaere Tari roles are $69,931 to $80,285.
