Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for Agribusiness. This role will give you exposure to a range of Agri customers, and you'll work closely with experienced Agribusiness Partners fulfilling the day-to-day requirements of customer, while also supporting the growth of the customer base.
What are some day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?
- Provide dedicated support to BNZ Agribusiness Partners assisting them with proactive management of their customers and professional to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Assist with the maintenance and enhancement of the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio.
- Provide high levels of customer support and sales support to the Partners by handling all customer queries directly or referring to the appropriate channels.
- Carry out essential administrative tasks required for lending processes (documentation, drawdown, annual reviews, loan/security maintenance) and term deposit management (maintenance of existing and identification/acquisition of new business).
- Encourage customers towards the use of our digital platforms to provide appropriate customer service.
What attributes will this person have in order to be successful?
This is a challenging role with a broad range of tasks, so we're looking for a real team player who has a passion for our customers and colleagues to achieve great outcomes. We are looking for:
- 2-3 years experience within a customer service or relationship management role
- Familiarity in a business banking environment, and/or an understanding of banking principles and document preparation
- Credit and/or lending experience
- Natural ability to build relationships with a variety of customers, and excellent communications skills
- Knowledge of, experience within or passion for the Agribusiness sector would be advantageous
