As a Senior/Corporate Agribusiness Manager, you will manage a portfolio of agribusiness clients throughout the Canterbury region. Working closely with Agri analysts and product partners, you’ll craft and deliver innovative financial strategies that add real value and position you as a trusted advisor. Your focus will be on nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients, providing expert lending advice and tailored financial solutions. You’ll drive operational efficiencies, enhance customer engagement, and broaden coverage across the region.

Your proactive mindset and passion for agribusiness will help you build better solutions for our customers. You’ll be tertiary qualified in Agribusiness, Business, or Finance, and bring relevant experience in banking, lending, business, or farming.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience in banking/financial services or farm consultancy.
- Strong understanding of commercial and farm management practices, especially those relevant to medium and large agribusiness clients.
- Established networks and industry expertise across the Canterbury region.
- A track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to identify opportunities, adapt and innovate, and drive productivity.
- Agribusiness lending experience and credit risk knowledge (advantageous).
- Accountability for risk and compliance, including fostering a culture of risk awareness and effective risk management.
