This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity. The Automation Test Analyst will take responsibility for defined software application automated testing services to ensure that the solutions developed conform to agreed standards and operate as expected when migrated to production (as part of the Testing Team)
Will take a role in identifying and implementing improvements to the testing processes and methods in consultation with the Test & Release Manager. They will also provide technical leadership in CI/CD processing.
- Identify testing requirements and design and plan test conditions, scripts, data sets to meet the requirements of St John
- Ensure automated test scripts are created, maintained and executed to meet software release deliverables and project testing requirements.
- Support the CI/CD process used in Dev Ops on the digital project, so as to support the timely and successful implementation of new applications.
- Ensure load test scripts are created, maintained and executed to provide consistent baselines and measurement of the performance of applications to meet software release deliverables and project testing requirements.
- Ensure application and infrastructure changes are thoroughly tested and test tools are used appropriately to ensure an effective and efficient automated test process.
- Record, analyses diagnosis, reports and manages test events, incidents problems and retest to meet the appropriate test result using Test Automation.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Information Systems/Computer Science (desirable)
- ISEB/ISTQB qualified to at least foundation level, recognized by ANZTB (Australia and New Zealand Testing Board) (required)
- Previous experience working in DevOps and Agile environment (desirable)
- Proven understanding of testing diciplines and methodologies
- Proven knowledge and hands-on testing experience for the unit, release, regression, end to end and UAT test phases
- Proven skill in writing test cases with detailed test steps either by understanding the process and/ or reading through functional requirements or talking to functional experts
- Proven ability to develop, document and execute test plans
