Job Description
We are seeking a values-driven and visionary leader to take on the role of Campus Manager at our Yoobee City Road campus. This is an influential position where you will inspire and guide our teams to deliver an exceptional student experience, foster a strong sense of community, and champion academic and personal success for every learner.
As Campus Manager, you will provide strategic and people-focused leadership across academic and operational functions, ensuring high-quality outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. Central to your role will be creating a culture of equity, innovation, and continuous improvement—one where students are empowered to thrive, staff are supported to excel, and graduates are equipped for rewarding careers and future pathways.
With a diverse and vibrant international student community, City Road is a key campus for growth and innovation. You will lead initiatives that strengthen the student journey, enhance graduate outcomes, and build meaningful connections with industry and community partners. Above all, you will model the values that define Yoobee, ensuring our campus remains a place where learning is transformative, inclusive, and future-focused.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead, support, and coach academic and operational staff to achieve KPIs.
- Oversee student wellbeing, engagement, and pastoral care in line with the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice.
- Ensure compliance with NZQA, TEC, Health & Safety, and quality assurance requirements.
- Manage daily campus operations, facilities, timetabling, and resources.
- Build partnerships with employers, iwi, Pasifika communities, and local organisations.
- Drive international student success and growth, including student support, engagement, and targeted initiatives to increase enrolments.
- Monitor graduate outcomes and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to institutional strategy, innovation, and cultural priorities.
- Manage campus budgets and resources to ensure efficiency, sustainability, and profitability.
Qualifications
About you / Key Requirements
You will be an accomplished leader ideally with experience in education or campus management, and a strong track record of delivering results through people, operations, and compliance. Experience supporting international learners and an understanding of their unique needs will be highly valued.
Candidates with management experience from organisations with strong processes and procedures will also be considered, where transferable leadership, operations, and customer experience skills can be demonstrated.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, support, and develop staff.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across cultures.
- Strong business acumen with experience in financial and resource management.
- A customer-centred, collaborative, and outcomes-focused approach.
- Tertiary qualification highly preferred.
