Supreme Care Limited is currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant / Care Giver to join our growing team. We are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care to individuals needing support with their daily living needs.
- Position: Personal Care Assistant
- Location: Southland
- Employment Type: Permanent, minimum 30 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $28.25 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients with daily personal routines such as washing, getting dressed, and grooming.
- Help individuals move around safely, including using mobility aids when needed.
- Be a friendly and reassuring presence—offering companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with preparing simple meals and feeding if required.
- Keep living spaces tidy and help with basic household tasks.
- Keep an eye on clients’ wellbeing and share any concerns with the team.
- Always follow care plans and ensure tasks are done safely and respectfully.
Requirements:
- Level 4 qualification (aged care, disability support, or home care).
- Previous experience will be an advantage.
- Understanding of privacy, dignity, and safe care practices.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Physically fit and reliable.
- Flexible with shift work, including weekends or public holidays as needed.
- Driver’s license and own transport (required).
Desirable:
- Valid First Aid Certificate preferred
