At Oji Fibre Solutions, our Supply Chain and Procurement team plays a vital role in driving sustainable and cost-effective procurement strategies that strengthen the performance of our Forest Resources manufacturing operations.
About the role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Category Coordinator to support the effective management of supplier relationships, performance, and compliance. This key role works closely with our Senior Category Managers and stakeholders to monitor supplier performance, track key performance, and ensure alignment with business needs.
You’ll be instrumental in supporting supplier onboarding, contract lifecycle management, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives – ensuring we derive maximum value from our supplier relationships.
This role is based at either our Mount Maunganui or Kinleith Mill office and may involve occasional travel to our operational sites.
Role responsibilities include:
- Monitor and report on supplier performance against operational and regulatory standards
- Coordinate contract and performance management processes
- Support supplier onboarding and ensure compliance with procurement systems and standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and mitigate supplier risk
- Facilitate supplier reviews, track corrective actions, and support supplier relationship management
- Maintain supplier data and contribute to internal reporting and insights
- Promote best practices and build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teams
About you:
You’ll bring experience in procurement or supplier management. You will have strong communication and analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative mindset. Be confident working with data and systems to inform decisions and drive improvement. Experience with contract compliance, key performance tracking, or supplier onboarding is a plus – but most importantly, you're a team player who brings a positive, proactive approach to everything you do.
