Change Manager Wellington Central
Fixed term, 30-40 Hours per week
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
We need a seasoned, self-directed and organised Change Manager who has experience implementing business process change alongside new technology. You will be working with the Legal Aid Service to implement a technology solution to replace manual data entry, this will change the way work is received and reduce time spent on administrative tasks.
The challenges for the Change Manager will include:
- Potentially encountering staff with high levels of change fatigue.
- Maintaining continuity of service for the people that our Legal Aid kaimahi support and serve.
- Ensuring leadership and kaimahi are set up for success.
- On-going change support and assisting the business in embedding the change after the implementation date.
The Change Manager will report to the Manager Legal Aid Services and need to work seamlessly with Managers, the MOJ Project Team and the vendor Project Team to deliver successful change outcomes.

We need a seasoned Change Manager who has the following skills and experience:
- Has experience implementing technology system change alongside new business processes, preferably in a Public Service Agency.
- Has strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Is self-directed and takes the initiative and makes things happen within the agreed scope
- Is self-managing with the ability to manage tasks and priorities
- Is adaptable and flexible with their approach when new challenges or requirements emerge and can pivot to adjust plans and activities.
- Is resilient, taking setbacks or challenges in their stride and see these as an opportunity to learn and improve.
- Is pragmatic taking into account time and resource constraints and other change that is planned to deliver the outcomes required in a way that minimises business disruption.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $129,129 - $179,192 based on skills and experience and pro-rata for part time.
