Job Description
Your Core Attitude:
As Chef de Partie, you will be the face of our TRIBE revolution: a blend of elegance, innovation, and passion. With your charismatic leadership & attitude you will inspire your teammates to craft magical moments and create unforgettable memories. As a Kitchen profesional, your mantra is clear: cultivate an authentic TRIBE vibe.
Your Key missions:
- Supervise kitchen operations to ensure quality dishes.
- Maintain kitchen high standards.
- Plan menus with management and manage budget.
- Ensure food safety compliance.
- Foster creativity while adhering to brand concept.
- Collaborate with other departments for guest satisfaction.
- Maintain excellent presentation standards and cost control.
- Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained.
- Assist Head Chef with menu preparation and ensuring adequate supplies are available for expected service.
- Liaising with restaurant team members regarding the availability of menu items, additions to the menu and any relevant changes.
- Constantly striving to provide total customer satisfaction through efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests. This includes leading by example when attending to guest requests.
Qualifications
About You
- 2-4 years experience in a similar role
- Holds a Level 4/5 Diploma in Professional Cookery.
- Physically fit and able to stand for the duration of a shift (8 hours).
- Organise time and work efficiently.
- Ability to work weekends, public holidays and nights due to the business needs
- Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation / interpersonal skills. Effective numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
- Appreciates and maintains an effective outlet for stress.
- The right to work in New Zealand.
